NORTHCOTE HOUSE

For a small suburban plot in Melbourne, I developed a concept responding to the client’s brief for a multi-generational family home with the flexibility to be divided into two separate units in the future. The final design delivered a four-bedroom house, thoughtfully planned to allow easy adaptation into two distinct residences with minimal modifications.

The compact site presented unique challenges, including balancing neighbour privacy with providing light, outlook, and amenity for the new home. I addressed these constraints with careful spatial planning and sensitive design solutions. My role encompassed creating the concept design, preparing the Planning Permit documentation, and producing the contract documentation.
