MUNBY STREET HOUSING

This project involved the development of nine affordable houses in Bradford, UK, for a housing charity. Following planning approval, I prepared detailed documentation for tender, construction, and Building Control approval.

A critical aspect of this project was ensuring compliance with the accessibility and adaptability requirements set by the developer, designed to meet the needs of diverse occupants and future-proof the homes. I carefully incorporated features to support universal access, such as level thresholds, adaptable layouts, and provisions for future modifications, ensuring the homes were both inclusive and practical. This approach balanced the charity’s mission to deliver affordable housing with the functional and regulatory demands of the project.
