BROKENWOOD WINES

Following the successful DA approval, I was entrusted with leading the documentation phase for the Brokenwood Wines project, focusing on tender and construction documentation. The project presented several challenges, including ensuring compliance with the NCC and relevant Australian Standards, particularly around spatial clearances for accessibility and mobility, fire-resistant construction and the design and fit-out of food premises. All of this had to align with the client-approved concept design and council-approved DA plans.

Collaborating closely with the other consultants, I resolved these complex issues while maintaining the integrity of the design intent and securing adherence to previous approvals. Leveraging ArchiCAD’s BIMx software, I was able to clearly communicate the building’s design and details to both the client and the selected contractor, ensuring a seamless transition from planning to execution.
